Is it just me, or are things progressing slower and slower on “Sons of Anarchy?” I realize it’s the final ride and all and we want to savor the moments with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) the boys, but I don’t think anything really exciting has happened in some time.
Please don’t try to jam pack a whole bunch of the good stuff in the final two episodes. We believe in you Kurt Sutter, with or without your appendix!

So what is on the schedule for tonight? In celebration of “The Mysteries of Laura” getting a full season order from NBC this week, tune-in at 8pm for an all new episode. In, “The Mysteries of the Art Ace,” a gambling ring is uncovered by the team while they investigate the murder of a gallery owner’s son in Koreatown, and Laura (Debra Messing) reunites with her estranged dad as she prepares to go undercover as a high-stakes poker player.
At 9pm, you can skip “Couples Therapy” on VH-1 since it was also announced this week that “The Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis and his “like” Nikki Ferrell have broken up. Hopefully this will be the last time we hear about this unmatched match forever and ever.
Instead, catch a hilariously spooky Halloween episode of “Modern Family” on ABC. Tonight, Phil (Ty Burrell) takes over Halloween from a reluctant Claire (Julie Bowen) and turns the Dunphy house into “AwesomeLand.” Meanwhile, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) chooses Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay (Ed O’Neill), but he would rather go as Prince Charming—with a full head of hair.
Elsewhere, Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) can’t keep up with the day’s activities; and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) delivers the closing argument in a big case, but the stenographer is dressed as a spider.
Even though I’m absolutely frightened of horror films and tv shows, in the spirit of Halloween, I’ll be watching “American Horror Story: Freak Show” at 10pm on FX. In the conclusion of the two part episodes entitled, “Edward Mordrake,” Jimmy (Evan Peters) and Maggie (Emma Roberts) have a run-in with the Twisted Clown. Meanwhile, Elsa (Jessica Lange) recalls her days in Germany.
If you’re in for an all-nighter, catch “Constantine” star Angelica Celaya on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” at 1230am on CBS.
